National Book Lovers Day

BöckerThis Saturday marks the most important personal holiday for hundreds of bookworms across the country. That’s right – Tomorrow is National Book Lovers Day.

This day celebrating the written word comes only once a year on August 9th. For those of us who recognize the holiday, it is a time to bond with fellow book fans over struggles like when a movie version of a book is completely wrong or how you cry a little inside when someone tells you they don’t like to read. We all know, as book lovers, that we need to stick together.

In celebration, some of our home office employees shared their favorite reads:

Take a moment or an hour or a day this weekend to crack open one of your favorite reads, because we all know once you start a good book there is no stopping. So let that book take you on a journey, and in the words of “Game of Thrones” author George R.R. Martin: “A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one.”
